Five Flowery Books On My TBR

It’s time for another Top 5 Saturday (led by the wonderful Amanda @ Devouring Books)! I was looking for books I’d already read that had flower motifs or flowers on the cover… and I found a surprising lack. What’s even more strange was that I found a plethora on my tbr! So I’m going to spotlight some of these lovely books I cannot wait to read! (The titles of each book are linked to their GoodReads page).

Rules!

  • Share your top 5 books of the current topic– these can be books that you want to read, have read and loved, have read and hated, you can do it any way you want.
  • Tag the original post (This one!)

Wicked Like a Wildfire by Lana Popovic

Probably the main reason I have this book on my tbr is because of that gorgeous cover, but the premise promises a sister story, whimsical magic, and a curse. Basically everything I could ever want in a book.

Midsummer’s Mayhem by Rajani LaRocca

I never knew I needed this MG retelling of A Midsummer’s Night Dream with lots of baking shenanigans until my friend Indigo recommended this book to me! It sounds so fun!

A Constellation of Roses by Miranda Asebedo

I’ve been wanting to read this beautiful book since before it came out last year. It sounds like the exact kind of magical read mixed with family secrets and drama that I need in my life.

A Map for Wrecked Girls by Jessica Taylor

And surprise, surprise, it’s another sister story! I really can never get enough of these types of stories, plus this is all about surviving on a deserted island, which sounds incredibly exciting.

I Love You So Mochi by Sarah Kuhn

Whenever I look at this cover, it makes my heart happy. It’s so beautiful. And I’m excited to experience the adorable romance that is promised as well as a vibrant Japan setting.

What flowery books do you love?

  1. Hey– ok off topic sorry but I can post here but not on the One Dark Throne Post. So I’m going to post it here?.. I’m not sure why it won’t let me comment on it there?

    One Dark Throne:

I love your review!!! Thank you for giving me a support mechanism and I can’t wait to get into Two Dark Reigns with you but I still think it is going to be a gaggle of dark reigns! I completely agree about Madrigal’s story line. I’m glad you mentioned it because it didn’t make my review. And we both loved the sister angel LOVED IT!

OH! AND! So you HAVE to tell me more about blood leaf. I’m going to go read your review. So now I have to think about THAT vs. Ember?! Is THAT what you are saying?!!

    1. Bloodleaf and Ember are both wonderfully, just in very different ways. I should say that Bloodleaf’s sequel doesn’t come out until November, and it’s a trilogy, whereas Ember’s final book comes out in December, so if that makes a difference, there you go 🙃

      1. I will keep it in mind for the future than maybe as the third book comes out lol. Sooner or later I am going to run out of series that I actually want to read.
